friday confessional

1. if you already didn't know, i'm really not a morning person.

2. so with that said, i've been having a hard time adjusting to big brother's school schedule this week.

3. i guess it would help if i went to bed early, like before midnight would be good, right?

4. the first few days the adrenaline and excitement got me out of bed in the morning, but this morning i was already dreading the sound of my alarm in my sleep.

5. i'm not sure what i'm going to do when it's cold and rainy out..i mean, if nice sunny weather can't get me up, i'm not sure what will.

6. so needless to say, i think i've said to myself in my head many times this week, that i already miss summer.

7. i think it's going to be a long school year?

8. i filled out a volunteer sheet for helping out in big brother's class and i'm thinking i may have sounded too excited on the form because the teacher called and left me a message asking if i'd be interested in being the room mom.

9. room mom?! i've heard many stories from different people about how much work it is to be room mom..but on the message the teacher left me, she managed to make it sound easy peasy, like oh, it's just a few holiday parties you'll have to plan, no biggie.

10. i think the type A mommy in me wants to do it so i can be in charge and know what's going on..ha! but no really, i'd love to help out and be involved with the big brother's class..

11. i think i was made for this stuff..room mom stuff..whatever that is.
