she had a pleasant lunch with the posse,
watched her boys get wet from a water fountain,
got lost in books about fairies, a dog named blue, and a girl named dora.
oh and not to mention she was swooning over books of sewing goodness.
she got impatient and frustrated with little boys,
who did not want to eat their dinner.
she began second guessing her decisions and actions as a mother,
and was beginning to feel like she was failing as mother,
a caretaker, a provider.
yes, inadequate was what she was feeling..
and all these emotions and feeling came up all because
they didn't want to eat their dinner.
can you say hormonal?
her mister gave her the gentle reminder that her boys love her
and that she should give them a big hug.
and that he loves her even more.
that made her heart smile
and made her forget
about all the silly and absurd things she was thinking earlier.
so they didn't want to eat their dinner..
big deal.
it's not the end of the world.
