#30: go on separate dates with the boys
it was just us. me and big brother.
our destination: the bookstore.
we sat for over an hour in silence, flipping through pages and getting up only to get more books. he had his nose in books about spongebob and handy manny, and i in books about sewing and knitting.
we sat at the kiddy table in the food court,
chatting about the books he read in the bookstore and the people walking by us.
i shared my smoothie from jamba juice.
he didn't share his chocolate chip clif z bar.
nonetheless, he was the perfect gentleman.
