third person thursday

she was falling in and out of consciousness,
while her boys were watching CARS for the hundredth time.

her eye lids were so heavy.
there was nothing she could do to stay awake.

she had to stay awake because she knew
little brother would go off and get into trouble;
what he does best.

but the inevitable happened.
she dosed off.
for probably five minutes max.

and she woke up to
two little boys at her side, smiling.
oh, how cute, she thought.

but wait.
she also smelled sunblock.
what? sunblock?

she looked at the brothers' fingers and
yes, there was sunblock all over them..
and ON HER FACE!!!

now that got her to wake up FAST.
(she would of taken a picture if she didn't jump up
and wipe it all off her face so quickly)

that taught her to never dose off like that again..:)
