The Posse and I went to San Diego for a few days. We had a blast.
We went to the Wild Animal Park on the hottest day of the year. I'm serious. It was hot. And smart one over here wore dark denim jeans and a black tshirt. Even the animals were smart enough not to come out into the heat. It really felt like we were on an Africa safari. We survived though.
We also cruised down to Old Town San Diego and had lunch at our favorite Mexican Restaurant, Old Mexican Cafe. They have the best homemade tortillas ever! Even big brother enjoyed his lunch!
And what would a trip to SD be without our usual trip to Seaport Village?
Ben & Jerry's was celebrating their 30th birthday so they were handing out free ice cream to everyone. You know we jumped right in line! Thanks Ben! Thanks Jerry!
On the way home we stopped by San Clemente, so the boys could walk around (well big brother and dh) and so we could wait for the traffic to ease up. Big brother had so much playing in the sand and running around.
We were so sad our trip ended so soon, but I think we might be headed back there again in a couple of weeks. (wink, wink)
